The goal was to create a digital experience that matched the history and luxury of the La Samaritaine brand while ensuring smooth user navigation for customers. As the lead UI/UX designer for mobile version, I worked to design a website that not only showcased the store's offerings but also reflected its rich 150-year history.

Early in the project, we focused on wireframing to establish the structure and user flow. The main challenge was to balance the amount of content with an intuitive and aesthetically pleasing layout. We designed simple wireframes for the key areas: home page, events, offers, dining, and the "About Us" section. These served as the foundation for high-fidelity prototypes, which helped us visualize and refine the user experience.

A key feature of the design was its flexibility, allowing the content to be easily updated and new pages added via the CMS.

Design & Visual Direction

Once the wireframes were finalized, I focused on the visual design, choosing elegant fonts, high-quality images, and a color palette that reflects the sophistication of La Samaritaine. The new website needed to echo the grandeur of the store, while also providing a smooth and modern digital experience.

The website was designed to be fully responsive, ensuring that the digital experience was seamless across desktop, tablet, and mobile devices. I worked closely with the development team to ensure the website's interactions, such as booking services and reviewing offers, were fluid and easy to use.
